The Law Offices of Kevin L. Collins, P.C. are located in the heart of beautiful downtown San Antonio, Texas on the second floor of the historic One Alamo Center. This Bexar County Law Firm is convenient to all of the San Antonio courthouses, including the John Woods Federal Courthouse and the Bexar County Criminal Justice Center.

Mr. Collins, Board Certified in Criminal Law and Juvenile Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is the principal of the firm.  He is the Treasurer of the Juvenile Law Section of the Texas Bar Association, a Member of the Texas Bar Foundation, and a Member of the San Antonio Bar Foundation. He is a former federal law clerk and state prosecutor. He is the past President of  South Texas Mensa  and current member of both South Texas Mensa and American Mensa. He holds the highest rating awarded to lawyers from prestigious Martindale Hubbell, an “AV,” and has also been awarded the highest rating under the AVVO system, a 10.0. The “AV” rating is only bestowed on lawyers of preeminent legal ability based on confidential information received from judges and fellow attorneys. Mr. Collins has been recognized with the prestigious Super Lawyers accreditation by Thomson Reuters & Company for the years of 2009-2016, and since 2012 has been selected to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Texas by the National Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Collins was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2016 in the field of Criminal Defense.  His offices feature a federal and state library, as well as an extensive system of Apple computers for online legal research.  Kevin Collins was recently selected to San Antonio Business Journal’s list of 2015 Outstanding Lawyers.

The practice areas of the firm are concentrated in State and Federal criminal litigation. Mr. Collins has handled hundreds of trial and plea negotiations in all levels of Texas federal and state courts. He also has extensive appellate experience in state and federal courts, including federal habeas corpus proceedings.
